About the event
Inclusive Finance India Summit has become an important platform for key stakeholders in the financial services and banking sector for deliberating on national level policy issues related to delivery of financial services to low-income unbanked households. The Summit is amongst the largest conglomeration of financial inclusion eco-system globally attracting over 1000 delegates from both within and outside the country. With over 15 carefully selected thought provoking sessions / tracks and a host of side events and a Knowledge Fair, the 14th Inclusive Finance India Summit is slated to convene on 11th and 12th December, 2017 at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi, India, to deliberate, discuss and provide direction to changing eco-system of Financial Inclusion.

As the financial inclusion sector reaches new milestones and scale, technology has not only started to reshape existing business models, but also helped launch new technology companies providing financial services. Digital field applications (DFA) to digitize operations, new ways of customer onboarding, mobile apps for customers, UPI integration (for loan repayments), automating and using new ways of determining creditworthiness, route mapping & optimization, use of big data and so on- These are fundamentally changing how financial services are delivered to the unbanked. In addition, new age credit companies, Payment platforms, FinTechs, are using Technology to challenge the incumbent players. Similarly, the newly licensed Small Banks and Payment Banks, etc. are expected to fill the missing gaps in extending the full portfolio of financial services to the underserved.
This session will discuss the impact of these changes on the traditional financial inclusion paradigm, while exploring some examples of global and local experiences of innovative ideas that are expected to transform the financial inclusion movement through the use of technology.
